SOAB Learning Lab is proud to announce the strengthening of its partnership with the Government Academy as part of Curaçao’s Overheidsbreed Opleidingsprogramma (OOP). This collaboration, solidified through an official agreement signed today by Minister Shalten Hato of the Ministry of Governance, Planning, and Service (BPD), reflects a shared commitment to fostering continuous professional development within Curaçao’s public sector.
The Overheidsbreed Opleidingsprogramma (OOP), launched in 2024, is a strategic initiative by the Curaçao government aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of public servants at all levels. By investing in human capital, the program seeks to significantly improve the quality and efficiency of public service delivery across the nation.
As a central partner in this program, SOAB Learning Lab brings its expertise in designing and delivering innovative training and educational initiatives. Together with the Government Academy, we will continue to coordinate and implement a range of professional development opportunities. These include:
- Specialized courses in leadership, customer service, and technical expertise tailored to specific roles.
- Advanced topics such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and personal development.
- Programs that foster a culture of lifelong learning, ensuring public servants are prepared to meet future challenges and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.
Minister Shalten Hato emphasized the importance of this collaboration during the signing ceremony, stating, “Investing in the professional growth of public servants is key to building an efficient and forward-thinking government.
