Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau processes your personal data because you are making use of our services and/or you provided it to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16 or not. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us via privacy@soab.cw, so we can delete this information.

  • Curriculum Vitae> Retention period: a maximum of 5 years > Reason: You applied for a job with us and the job application process is still running or for filling vacancies in the future. If your CV is saved for any vacancies in the future, you will be informed accordingly. A CV that will not be used will be deleted, including the corresponding mail.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau provides exclusively to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. This may include service providers such as hosting platforms or analytics services. This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, at your request. 

If you believe that we have processed your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For users in the EU, this could be their local Data Protection Authority. For users in Curacao, you can file a complaint with the Curacao Data Protection Authority at the Ministry of Government, Planning and Services (BPD).

How we protect personal data

Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not secure or that there are indications of abuse, please contact us at privacy@soab.cw. You can also use this address to object to any deficient processing or storage of your data by Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau.

In the event of a personal data breach, Stichting Overheidsaccountantsbureau will take the necessary steps to mitigate the breach and notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours, as required by law. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you with undue delay.
